Piano Beginners Summer Camp in Park Cities & Highland Park, TX

Piano Beginners Summer Camp at Park Cities School of Music is a fun, inspiring introduction to piano for children who are just starting their musical journey. Designed for beginner students, this camp offers a joyful and confidence-building way to explore piano fundamentals in a supportive, encouraging environment trusted by Park Cities and Highland Park, TX families.

Through hands-on keyboard exploration, music games, and creative activities, students develop early piano skills while discovering the joy of making music. Our experienced teachers guide each child at their own pace, helping them build confidence, focus, and a positive connection to piano from day one.

Ages: 6 – 10
Days: Monday – Friday
AM Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Fee: $450/week, $90/day (drop-in)
Registration: $15/child (non-refundable), $10/child/camp for 2 or more camps and siblings
$10 – for returning students (non-refundable), $5/child/camp for 2 or more camps and siblings

Music Camps Cancellation Policy

• 5 days or more prior to camp start: 100% refund
• Less than 5 days prior to camp start: 50% refund
• On the day and after camp has started: No refund

This program builds upon the core ideas of our popular Piano Explorers Program, adapted specifically for older beginners who are ready for a playful yet structured approach to learning piano.

Through music, movement, and hands-on keyboard exploration, students develop foundational piano skills while discovering the joy of making music.

What Students Learn at Piano Beginnings Camp

Foundational Piano Skills
Children learn proper hand position, healthy piano technique, rhythm basics, and how the piano keyboard works. Concepts are introduced gradually to ensure confidence and success from the very beginning.

Campers explore piano key names and play fun, age-appropriate beginner songs that make learning feel exciting, achievable, and motivating.

Creativity & Musical Expression

A Playful & Confidence-Building Piano Camp
Our teaching approach is positive, supportive, and stress-free. Each day includes interactive music games, movement, and creative activities designed to keep children engaged and motivated.
