MASTER TEACHER

Park Cities School of Music Master Teacher, Soprano Eboneé Jewel Davis, offers a wealth of education and experience to music students enrolled in her private and group lessons. A New Orleans native, Eboneé received both a Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Music degree from the University of New Orleans, as well as a performer diploma in classical voice from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music.

After completing her education, Eboneé was featured as a young artist with EPCASO, the Ezio Pinza Council for American Singers of Opera. Through this program, Eboneé lived in Oderzo, Italy, where she received extensive Italian language training and coached repertoire and technique with Claudia Pinza, Maurizio Arena, and Enza Ferrari.

Eboneé has remained committed to her passion for operatic performance. She had appeared in roles such as: Monisha in Scott Joplin’s Treemonisha, First Lady in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Clarice de Noyan in William Grant Still’s Minette Fontaine, and Vi in Gershwin’s Blue Monday. She was also featured as both a soloist and chorister with the New Orleans Opera Association in their 2002 production of Porgy and Bess. She subsequently performed with the company as a chorister in their productions of Tosca, Cavalleria Rusticana/I Pagliacci, and La Traviata. Eboneé has also appeared as a soprano soloist in Schubert Mass in G as well as Bach cantata 140 “Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme.”

She has served on the voice faculties of Dillard University and Loyola University New Orleans teaching both classical and popular/commercial music. In addition to this, Eboneé also taught voice, piano, and music theory for years with Loyola University’s Preparatory Arts Program working with both children and adults.

COVID-19 UPDATE

UPDATE

A brief update from Park Cities School of Music regarding the continuation of lessons as we work to protect our faculty, students and families from the COVID-19. Our priority has always been, and will continue to be, to provide top quality music education in a safe and secure environment.

While Park Cities School of Music will continue to provide lessons to students in-person at our physical location, please be advised we are taking every opportunity to clean and sanitize our facility, studios and instruments. Understandably, if you feel more comfortable taking your lesson from the comfort of your home, PCSM can provide an online class for you in place of your usual in-person lesson.

Students coming to PCSM should be prepared to arrive a few minutes early in order to wash their hands with soap and water provided in the restrooms prior to their lesson. Faculty have been advised to wash their hands between each student, as well as wipe down any keyboards used between lessons. PCSM underwent a deep cleaning yesterday, as it does weekly; however, we will be increasing the cleaning of the facility during the coming weeks in an effort to keep germs to a minimum.

The PCSM Calendar will continue as planned. Online, at your home, or PCSM studio lessons will resume on March 23. We want to maintain regular schedule as much as possible.
