Baby, Toddler, and Pre-School Music Classes

Jessika Thomas has been utilizing music to engage and inspire young children since her own early years. Growing up in her mother’s in-home daycare, she was naturally drawn to entertaining the infants, using her voice and rhythm to capture their attention. Music was a constant presence in her home and the daycare, with her parents always encouraging her to sing and dance. This love for music was further reinforced at church, where she sang in the choir, and in school and church plays, where she discovered a passion for performing on stage.

Her formal music education began in elementary school at a magnet program where she learned piano. In middle school, she expanded her skills by playing the euphonium in the school band while continuing piano studies. By high school, she was studying classical guitar, further enriching her understanding of music and performance.

With a strong belief in the connection between music, movement, and mindfulness, Jessika incorporates her background as a certified yoga instructor into her teaching. She integrates breathwork and mindful movement into her sessions, helping young children not only explore rhythm and melody but also develop self-awareness and emotional regulation.

Jessika has over two years of experience teaching music to infants and toddlers through Stretch-n-Grow, leading engaging, developmentally appropriate classes that encourage early musical exploration. Her approach blends structured learning with playful interaction, helping children build confidence, coordination, and a lifelong love of music.

With her warm and energetic teaching style, Jessika is passionate about providing young learners with a joyful musical foundation. Whether leading a sing-along, encouraging movement through song, or fostering creative expression, she creates a nurturing and dynamic space where children can grow, learn, and thrive through music.
